So it's summer time.... only it doesn't feel like summer up here in Flagstaff. I've been super busy working on campus for Residence Life helping out with Orientation. I check in the incoming Freshman for orientation, babysit them when they're staying in my residence hall, putting on dance parties and night, then checking them out the next day. It's a lot of fun, but a lot of work, and lots of early mornings. I got blessed with a really good team. The ten of us all get along really well. They're almost family.

Would you just lie with me and just forget the world
Chasing Cars lyrics
We'll do it all
Everything
On our own
We don't need
Anything
Or anyone
If I lay here
If I just lay here
Would you lie with me
And just forget the world?
I don't quite know
How to say
How I feel
Those three words
Are said too much
They're not enough
If I lay here
If I just lay here
Would you lie with me
And just forget the world?
Forget what we're told
Before we get too old
Show me a garden
That's bursting into life
Let's waste time
Chasing cars
Around our heads
I need your grace
To remind me
To find my own
If I lay here
If I just lay here
Would you lie with me
And just forget the world?
Forget what we're told
Before we get too old
Show me a garden
That's bursting into life
All that I am
All that I ever was
Is here in your perfect eyes
They're all I can see
I don't know where
Confused about how as well
Just know that these things
Will never change for us at all
If I lay here
If I just lay here
Would you lie with me and just forget the world?
This song has been on my mind all day. Would you please just lie with me and help me to forget the world? I feel so alone right now and found some comfort in this song, especially the version by Natasha Bedingfield
